2 Weeks Away...

So Don left on Tuesday for Army Training and is gone 2 weeks. Its hard to go back to living on our own. I always hope that the time passes quickly! The first couple of days are fine, but then the nights get lonely and I have trouble sleeping.

So When I arrived home from work on Friday I was sweetly surprised to see him sitting at our doorstep. My heart was beating fast and I was so excited but also a little hesitant because he was home. Turns out he got sent home due to injury. He has hurt his neck and back and has to been put on restrictions and will see the doctor/physio next week. So while that isn't great news... I'm not going to lie, I'm so happy he's home! Its bitter sweet really!

What will I do if/when he goes on deployment? My heart goes out to all those Army husband and wives who give up their time and lives together to help serve others who are in need. THANK YOU... You are my heros!!

Mmmm...

I haven't baked for a while but I LOVE BAKING!!! I find it very therapuctic, but its NO GOOD for the waistline. Hey are some yummy cookies that took only 7-9 minutes to bake! I love quick, easy and delicious recipes. Of course it was a challenge not to eat them all.

HAPPY PRE-BIRTHDAY BABE!!!

So Don is turning the big 30 next February and I was thinking of getting him something he's always wanted... A BIKE!!! One of the guys he works with was selling it and he got a great deal so... HAPPY PRE-BIRTHDAY HONEY BUNNY!!! He loves it! And I'm Awesome!

WEEKEND FUN!!!

Our weekend started with "Friday Night Pizza & Movie Night" with Phil & Kaylee... We love these 2!!

Saturday..."Fun day with Pacey". We started out playing at our house and ended up shopping.

And a really long SLEEP after a big day out...

Off to Wisemens Ferry for a lovely day out together.

We spent Sunday night with Matt, Jade and Pacey as they are down from Queensland and also our extended family The Bennallacks. We've had such a wonderful weekend thanks to family xx

Its been a while...

But I honestly have nothing to BLOG about... How Sad!!! So we have just been busy busy busy with work, church and lots of socializing. Which is always FUN! I can't believe July is nearly over. Half the family are overseas and Don & I are here holding down the fort. Don goes out BUSH on Tuesday and will be away 10 days, so not looking forward to that. But I guess that's Army life!! Maybe something exciting will happen over the next couple of weeks!
